Hot Winter Night!

Brant got tickets and took me to hot winter nights! The AVP does a sand volleyball tour in the winter. So they set up a sand court in the E center. We didn't really know which athletes would be there. I was so excited Todd Rodgers was one of the athletes. He was a gold medalist in the Beijing Olympics. He is a very strategic player but the reason he is my favorite is pure SCRAPability.
(Although this picture and his autograph will make it to my scrapbook that is not what I am referring to)
He is the best defensive player! We saw some great saves and he really knows the game, He is a scrappy player I love that! I think Brant got a little jealous of "Hottie Toddie" I told him, He is way more likely to end up with Natalie J/K :)
Inside joke for Natalie S: Sorry I can't resist his name IS Todd! Wait a minute, maybe that is why Brant was jealous he would lose his front of the house wife! ;) Had to add that for you!
I really did have fun and Brant found plenty of babes in Bikini's too, so it was fair. We had great seats and an even better time! Thank you so much Honey! I love you more!

PS. On our way home we ended up behind the AVP semi truck, coincidence I think not!

Falling in Love again!

A friend told me that you have to keep falling in love to have a good marriage, I think she said at least once every 3 years or something like that (Do you remember Sally?)! I thought maybe if you fall out of love or fall on some bad times it needs to be renewed sure. I still love Brant so much that I just wasn't sure if this advice applied for us, So I asked him if he could think of times when he fell in love again with me. Those of you who know Brant know he is not a man of details which can be good and bad. Maybe that is why it meant so much when he gave detailed moments when he was reminded why and how much he loves me. I love that man more than I could ever express. I don't need February 14th. I'll take Random Tuesdays! I fell in love with him again too!
I love holidays but I must admit Valentine's is not my favorite. February 14th has no real significance to Brant & I. I am not a romantic. It is true but it is fun for the kids. I did Ria's school party it was a crack up, She got a valentine which did not have a name for who it was from-- She is convinced she has a secret admirer, apparently she is more romantic that her mom! Heath is so funny I warned him not to get hit with Cupid's arrow, he said don't worry mom I will HI-YAH them. We made some pink punch which I called "love Potion". We took a drink and then we'd say I love you to someone we looked at, Heath took a drink and said I love my body!

Growing Pains

Don't mess with a girl and her shoes, Rianne's running shoes were getting too small. So we went through all her shoes and the shoes we thought would make it to summer won't. She was pretty upset and couldn't hold back the tears. I was telling her it is just part of life, one of those growing pains. She said she just wanted her feet to stay the same size. I told her one day her feet would stop growing. Rianne then said no more growing pains and lots of shoes! By then she was smiling so, I didn't burst her bubble on how we grow different when we are older but I did tell her she can have lots of shoes when she grows up.

Super Bowl Fun Day

We had a fun weekend relaxing in Bear Lake, so glad we were able to make it work, so we could go, it was totally worth it!

I even braved the snow, I get so cold so easy but it was a beautiful cold and I was bundled up well!

Brant can always be found playing with the kids usually outside. He is such a great dad making wonderful memories! McKennah, Rianne & Heath enjoyed the snow with Brant!

I must start while they are young,
I taught Hannah to chipmunk race, she enjoyed it. I was laughing, it was so cute how she would scrunch her little nose and try to really stick out those tiny teeth. She got pretty good, I'm still the champ! That's right, I'm faster than a 2 year old!

The aftermath of the big game and having the weekend come to an end, just before we headed home we took a Super Sad photo! We had so much fun with Chad and his family and our new friends Jason and Tiffany's Family! I recommend a relaxing time with too much good food and an overdose of laughter, combined with lack of sleep! Having a big brother is the best!
