Earth Day

So I love holidays but I have missed celebrating earth day but Bennett really got into it today. 

I decided to clean out the car today Bennett was playing outside when I heard him crying.  He fell in a prairie dog hole, I pulled him out to find him with only one shoe on.  I could see it but couldn’t reach it, so I went to get Heath’s pinchers.  Apparently Bennett thought if I could play in the hole he could too.  I ended up pushing his shoe farther down the hole, I cleaned up the very dirty boy whose diaper was full of Earth.  After Brant got home he dug his shoe back out doing our part to save the earth ;) .              

 

Fool's hop in

Our twin family (the Smith’s) made the hop skip and jump to visit us in flagstaff. 

I felt like a kid at Christmas and it was a much needed visit you know you are great friends when even though it seems like forever and life has changed we seem to pick up right where we left off. 

 And you must be good friends when another man can buy your wife a skirt. Thanks Brady ;). 

Our kids get along really well too the girls were up giggling every night. 

And even though you would never guess these two are less than 2 weeks apart in age, and have different personalities they are 7 year old boys and went together like PB & J. 

We did get to show them Walnut Canyon and only wished they could have stayed longer but we will take what we can get! 

They left just before Easter, which being in March seemed to come too fast.  We missed egg rolling with the family but the bunny still hopped to our house.  The kids were set for church and Heath loves having a real tie tie. 

April Fools followed Easter.  We had cupcakes for dinner

 and Bennett enjoyed worms and mud,

 For FHE we had our traditional Wise man foolish man lesson this year complete with sand for a treat
